I consider it an honour being a part of the Helensville School whanau, where I feel totally welcome and supported. I have been teaching for a number of years from New Entrant level to Year 8. My teaching philosophy that all students’ abilities and intelligence can grow through perseverance, effective strategies and input from others resounds in the Helensville School motto to ‘Aim High’. I absolutely love my job and the privilege of working with every child to instill resilience, a love of learning and the expectation of success.
I have 3 grown children as well as two grandsons and live with my wonderful husband Paul, a local drum teacher. In my spare time, I enjoy time with my family, playing drums, photographing local events or scenes, gardening, scuba diving or enjoying the beach.
