I am so excited to be part of the Rimu team at Helensville Primary school. I have been teaching since 2001 and still love it!
As a teacher in the 21st century I believe learning should be fun, flexible and provide a pathway for each student to work toward becoming not only independent and confident thinkers, but wise ones as well. I love the school motto of ‘Aim High’ as not only do I hold high expectations of myself but also of all students as this allows them to achieve their potential and develop a great level of self-worth.
I live in Helensville with my husband and two daughters who both attend Helensville Primary School. In my spare time I love to read books and spend time with friends and family.
