Kia ora, my name is Jessa Cochrane. I was born and raised in Tāmaki Makaurau and I also have whānau across the Kaipara on the Pahi Peninsula – I think you can almost see it from school!
I currently live in Te Atatū Peninsula where I enjoy waterside walks with my Griffon (Nina) and growing flowers for the bees in my garden. I am thrilled to be joining the Helensville Primary School community! As a teacher, I am passionate about providing effective, inclusive teaching and quality education to diverse learners. I want to inspire critical thinkers and problem solvers who value relationships, ask big questions and seek deep understandings. I love the excitement of shared discovery, the joy of developing ideas and I thrive on creative collaboration. I cannot think of a better job than one that allows me to help guide the discoveries and growth of young learners.
