Hello, my name is Phil Spriggs and I am the Deputy Principal at Helensville. Before coming here I was a mentor at The University of Auckland, working mainly with teachers in schools. Prior to that I was in senior management in several schools in the central/western suburbs of Auckland. One of the guiding principles of my philosophy is that I want every child to be able to succeed. My vision is that every child will be able to live the life they want to live using and responding to their own cultural identity and beliefs.
