Room 1 set up the Worm Farm

Room 1 made a new home for the worms.

First we emptied the old worm farm and broke the big hard lumps of soil. We took the rubbish from the old soil before we put it in the worm farm. We layered dead apples, dry leaves, soil and newspaper. On top of the newspaper we put water to soak it. The dead apples were squishy brown and stinky.

Everyone was saying, “It is so much fun!”

At last we put the blanket on top and said,“Good night!” to the worms.
