Matua Savage is super welcoming. He cares about us and is involved with us.

He addresses us in Te Reo Maori and we really like this.  He also makes us feel proud when we receive Values Certificates at team hui.

Mrs Holleron an amazing teacher!  She always teaches us great things and encourages us to keep going!
 

She pushes us to our limits and is amazingly tolerant with our noisy classroom. Mrs Holleron always finds positives in every situation.
                                         

Mrs Holleron always helps everyone to understand what they're learning and what it's  trying to tell them. She's super nice.

I like Mrs Mc because she keeps pushing us. Mrs Mc has a great sense of humour and brings happiness into our class. 

She is funny, helpful and always positive.
 

Mrs M’c is always there keeping us out of trouble. If the teacher is out she's the first option to go to.

Mrs Mc always helps me smile when you get over things when I'm angry.

Mrs Foreman is a kind, funny, chilled out teacher who makes learning fun for her Kōwhai students. She  makes sure everyone is trying their hardest in school work and I really enjoyed having her when I was a year 1.

​Mrs Foreman/Heather is so kind to everyone, and is fun to be around. She is always trying her hardest to make everyone have a good time. 

Nikita is funny.
She is a good teacher.
Nikita makes me happy when I am sad.
She is kind and caring.
She makes me giggle.

Miss Cinjee is a lovely teacher to have. She is probably one of the most fun teachers I've ever had. She does fun games with the class whether it's inside or outside. Overall I think Miss Cinjee is an amazing teacher and any student would be lucky to have her. 
Miss Cinjee is a kind teacher that respects her students. She helps kids and explains things really well. 

My favourite teacher is Mr Stanton because he is really nice and really really funny. He taught me good and he knew if it was too easy or if it was too hard. If it was too hard he would help me and if it was too easy he would make it harder. He made me want to come to school every day because if I was worried he would help me and if I was sad he would help me too and he would help me every day if I needed some help.
                                          

Miss Greenhalgh you are a really good reading and maths teacher. 

Miss Greenhalgh you take the time to explain maths strategies so I understand them. 

Miss Greenhalgh is a very good teacher and explains things very well. 

  Miss Gray is amazing and she let’s us do some fun things.

She is funny because she make us laugh sometimes.

I like how she gives us opportunities to draw or write or read at SSR time.

She is the best teacher in the world. 

Miss Maber is a good teacher. She helps us to learn and she makes people feel better. Miss Maber shows me how to be a good learner.

She teaches us a lot of math. She is the best teacher because she has helped me to learn how to read.

 Mrs Godek is a good teacher because she shows us lots of new things and she has reasons why she teaches us certain things                                            

Mrs Godek challenges us with learning activities to make us learn harder things that we need to be successful.   

She makes me laugh and giggle with her funny jokes. She is one of the most sportiest and funniest teacher. 

Mrs C is awesome for many reasons but the main reason is because she is so funny. I like being in Mrs C’s class because she is good at and likes to teach maths. Mrs C is one of the best teachers I've been with. I like being in her class because she makes things happen in different ways and makes boring things fun. She is funny, kind and happy. Mrs C is special because she makes everyone feel special in different ways. 

I love how Whaea Jess is always passionate, kind and caring. She is also so sweet and special. She is amazing.

Whaea Jessa is special because when ever I'm upset then she will comfort me until I feel better.

Whaea jess is good at teaching us new things. She explains it us.

Miss Jordan is athletic, ready to play games with everyone and fun!  Miss Jordan, you are an amazing teacher to your class. 

She always has your back. Her smile is warm. She gives the best hugs, is warm, compassionate and a truly inspirational teacher.

​Miss Mill is the most fantastic teacher in the whole school. When you are coming into the Rimu team she is the teacher you want. Miss Mill makes you feel welcome and helps you flourish into a great learner with her positive can do attitude.  Miss Mill will always support you with learning and personal development. Her sarcastic sense of humour makes you laugh and have a wonderful time.

Mrs Stokes is a fun, caring and kind teacher. She always helps us when we are stuck and makes learning so much more fun. As sports lead, she’s always organising new sporting events. In her class, she makes everyone feel so welcome and happy. 

Mrs Clayton is a teacher in Room 15 and Kōwhai Awhina. She has a funny sense of humour and makes funny comments in the classroom that make us laugh. She supports you with everything and is always kind and caring.

Laura is a very nice teacher, we do lots of arts and have fun doing school work. We learn lots of new outside games.

Mrs Terry is a year 7 and 8 teacher who is a very caring and a very happy person,  always brings a happy attitude to the class every day. Mrs Terry makes learning really fun and explains things very well. Mrs Terry is always willing to try new things and gives it everything she’s got.

Mrs Frank is really kind when she comes into my classroom. She is really kind and always helps everyone to make sure they get smart.

She is awesome when she is helping us. Mrs Frank works well with our ORS students.

I would love to be in Mrs Franks class sometime because she makes us learn some really great things.

She always finishes the day with a game and I like how she gives us nice comments.

Mrs Clark is an extremely kind, thoughtful and generous person. She is  fun to talk to and  is hilarious. She has helped me understand a lot of learning concepts.  

Mrs Clark is an amazing teacher. She is super chilled, and funny. We could have super boring work, and she’ll find a way to make it enjoyable. You are so cool Mrs Clark!

Tech expert, Fun person, and very smart is your job, Whaea Kelly!

Whaea kelly is always there making maths hard but fun, she  teaches us stuff like improper fractions and putting it in word sentences so then we really understand.

Emily is caring and kind and actually does everything! Emily helps us with our school work when we are stuck. 

Paul helps when I am stuck on something.

Ruth is kind and caring with the children she works with. 

She is beautiful on the inside and outside.

Nicola is a kind heart grateful person who loves helping. In her years at HPS she has helped a lot of kids who have different abilities. she loves a good laugh and knows the school well and everyone in it. She has a rather sportie personality and has a big heart.

Michelle is so cool, she made flying fish. It is so cool she lets us make things. She is really creative and nice to people. She is so funny and always helps us at work time. You made us do fun things and made us learn about different things.                                   

Paul helps us when we need it and is always ready to watch over us  

He practically gets us in the mood to learn. If we don't listen to the teacher he explains until we understand. Paul, you are officially amazing!

I like how Sandra  makes me laugh. She is funny and kind.

She always  help me when I need it.

Mrs King has been at our school since 1995. She is the first person that people meet when they visit our school and that's great because she is always friendly. She also looks after everyone who has to go to the sickbay. Mrs King knows everything, so if you have a question - ask her!
                                       
 

Whaea Shaz has been working at HPS for 15 years. She works in the office area.
She works hard to look after all the students, teachers and their whānau.
                                     

Mrs Oswald is the school librarian. She helps us find lovely books. She gets the task of choosing four librarians for each class. She also picks two head librarians to look after the library.   
                               
Mrs Oswald is always buying new books for us to read. We are very lucky to have her. She is amazing.
                                                            

Mr Hemeheme works so hard every day and is the best caretaker any school could have.                 

I like Mr Hemehema because he gets my balls off the roof.            

He is so helpful and makes people laugh and smile.
