We are a fantastic full primary school situated on a terraced hillside overlooking the Helensville district and the Kaipara River. Are we biased? Of course! To be a part of Helensville School means to fall in love with the vibrant, friendly children, the passionate, dedicated staff and the supportive local community.

Today the school is a community which knows it is here to provide the best possible learning environment for all of its members. We have a purpose and the Board of Trustees, the staff, the parents and the children work alongside one another to engage with the New Zealand Curriculum in a way which is meaningful and relevant for the children of Helensville School.
Our school has a special history:
The school grounds are situated on Maori land gifted to the community in the nineteenth century for the purpose of education. The school celebrated its 125th jubilee in 2002.
